31. So? Yes, I get that your friends all really like it and you don't, but I think it wouldn't be as a big a deal as long as you don't badmouth it all in front of them. Just don't pay attention to their ramblings, and focus on the things that you do have in common with them, I mean they have to be your friends for a reason.

Also, not everyone is you, I don't understand why so many people loved Naruto or Bleach and their fandoms are so big, but I chalk it up to not everyone is me and go on my merry way.

39. Um, maybe because they just don't like it. Some people take Death Note way too seriously. I mean its not as hard to understand as people make it out to be. Honestly, the theme and meaning of it is pretty simple and straight forward. Boy tries to be god, ends up failing while taking thousands of people with him. Not very abstract to be honest.

Personally I think the concept behind DN was good it just ran a bit too long, it might have worked better as a short compact morality play or novella, instead of this grandiose detective story where at points it was just way too contrived, and most of the characters aren't very sympathetic (especially Light).

51. While I don't think L is infallible, the fact that he seemed to rank humanity a bit higher than Light puts him above automatically. But no one human can purport to be the final call on what is justice anyways.

44. See... I thought that what they did was very innovative and unusual and I thought the ending was fucking brilliant.

The problem is that the camera work made me so motionsick that I couldn't properly appreciate the film. I know WHY they did it. I respect what they did. But damned if I wasn't sick for about an hour afterwards. :\

3. Oh, man, I totally agree. I'll slip into "Edgey" at times in chat when "Edgeworth" feels too long to type, but making a habit of it and labeling fics like that? Uuuhh. ("Nick" is a far better short name for Phoenix anyway)

41. Honestly, I'm okay with the idea ofa new Ace Attorney because Phoenix's story ended so perfectly, I didn't want to revisit him and ruin that perfection. But yes, the execution was terrible. I may be okay with Apollo, but not with what his game did to Phoenix's canon :(

I twitch when I see Edgy. I've never seen Fheenie. [Thank God - that would lead to horrible mental images involving Boy Meets World/Phoenix Wright crossovers...]

But am I the only one who has a hard time saying "Edgeworth" outloud? I stumble over it and end up with something that sounds like "Edward" gone horribly wrong. I usually settle for Miles and then feel like I'm being to intimate and presumptive. Argh.

I didn't like the movie because it bored the crap out of me. I couldn't connect to the characters in the least.

I did like the ending, though. I thought it was the perfect way to end the movie and was the most interesting part for me.
