I think she's really pretty in some pictures (not the one you posted, though).

Also, I really hate this thing of rating attractiveness on the scale of 1-10. Wouldn't everyone have their own "scale?" But people act like there is a universal one.

This. There is no universal scale. Attractiveness is 100% objective. This 1-10 thing is just a way of judging women since it was originally a scale created by men and I rarely hear it used in reference to men.

DA

I hear it used for both, and most of the time it's tongue in cheek from both sides

Obviously when it's creepy socially maladjusted people, they don't realize it's supposed to be tongue in cheek and make everyone else wince

It's definitely true that the men who are the most critical of women's looks, weight and clothes etc, tend to be ugly, overweight and badly dressed themselves, and completely unaware of the irony. Really staggeringly so.

What's worse, apparently their unawareness of irony is contagious...

That's not Felicia Day, though.

I am writhing in secondhand embarrassment that the pic you chose to show how pretty Felicia Day can look is actually a photo of some other woman who doesn't really look much like Felicia Day except for being a redhead. She's an artist and cosplayer named Nemo Valkyrja:
