nayrt - I get that, but...

1) a short comment is barely enough text to establish speech patterns
2) thanks to the internet and the pervasiveness of pop culture, a lot of peoples' speech patterns are getting more homogenized
3) the majority of the comments on FS are usually posted within a 2-3 hour window after the secret goes up and with over a thousand members, the odds of more than one person posting close together in time is not that uncommon
4) it's pointless to measure other peoples' behavior based on what YOU believe is freakout-worthy, because that will vary from person to person. Pick any semi-controversial topic and you'll find all sorts of opinions, many of them stronger than you might think is warranted. No doubt there are topics you feel strongly about that others would judge unnecessary, too.

I'll grant you the user-stalking, however.
