I don't think I could rank the characters fairly. Nux's arc just meant more to me than the others. I related to him more.

Your first line and last half of your latter line are subjective. He did have the most changing character arc of the lot. Not necessarily the most developed but he spanned the most personality and belief change.

Also he's a misguided young boy, fandom loves that shit. They're already woobifying him.

Not someone who's engaged with the fandom, but uh, I thought Furiosa was unrelentingly badass and proactive throughout. I didn't get a sense that she was less so than Nux and Max?

They do it in ways that are atypical for traditional masculine heroes. Much of what makes this movie feminist isn't so much the female characters (although that's a major factor, of course) but how the male heroes behave and how they interact with the female characters.

Nux' arc was simpler, I think, but that may be why it felt more like it had closure.

Honestly, the one who I don't think gets enough credit is... I'm sorry, I forget her name. The redheaded woman who lay down next to Nux and talked to him like a person.

It is very rare in action movies for one of the bravest and most heroic acts to be an act of compassion, but that is 100% what turned Nux around and helped save the day.

Nah. He might've had the most substantial arc in this movie, but the other characters had other movies to work with.

Also, he's kind of the fandom choice woobie, so most people probably agree with you anyway.

Nux was the most boring part of the movie for me, aside from how every fight scene was about three minutes too long.

My best friend will not shut up about Nux and it's driving me crazy. I get it, he's your newest piece in your woobie-collection, he was so fucking boring shut uuuuupppppp. (I don't say this out loud to her, but my tongue is starting to hurt from how much I am biting it)
