That feeling when...

(Anonymous) 2015-07-27 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
What gives you feels you want to talk about?

Re: That feeling when...

(Anonymous) 2015-07-27 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
...you're looking up workouts to tey and realize your typical workput is generally what other workouts consider a warm up.

How do I warm up of my workout IS a warm up?

Re: That feeling when...

"Other workouts" is a dangerous metric. Because there's always going to be some workout that's at some crazy-high level of fitness, the one you do right before you go to the Olympics or run an ultramarathon or fight Galactus or some shit. And no matter what your workout is, it will ALWAYS look like two push-ups and a deep breath next to that one.

I'm not saying I haven't felt what you're feeling, anon. I'm saying I totally HAVE felt it, and in my experience the only way through it is to calibrate yourself against yourself.

I got my time for a 5K down from 40 minutes to 38 minutes. Some would consider that time utterly pathetic. Others would consider it utterly unattainable. Both are right FROM THEIR OWN CURRENT FRAME OF REFERENCE. But I'm not using their frame of reference, I'm using mine. And I cut two damn minutes off my time, so I'm okay with that.

Yeah, but if a 20 minute walk is a warm up for...pretty much everything...but for me its my workout, what do I do to warm up?

Full-Body Stretching Exercise, maybe. don't do too much, maybe a bit that give you muscles and joint a 'wake up call'(not a right term, but still...).

You don't really have to warm up all that much if your workout is walking. You can shake out your legs a bit and do some arm cicles or w/e but a low intensity, low impact workout doesn't have much room to ramp up to.

Kingsman (spoilers)

Can it be fandom? Because if so, Kingsman again. (I'm sorry, most of you are probably tired of hearing me blab about it.)

More specifically, Eggsy wearing Harry's clothes. (I know I mentioned this...a week or so ago, idek, but I found new pictures!)

And okay, the robe is Harry's, the suit is Eggsy's but made to look like Harry's, and knowing that he went out and bought at least the shirt for the last outfit in his size because Harry wore it is giving me feels.

Stop hurting me, movie.

Okay I knew about the robe thing, but is he also wearing Harry's slippers and suspiciously long pyjama pants? Is he even wearing his own underwear?

Hahaha, who knows. If he could get away with wearing Harry's underwear he probably would. (He has a thing. I'm not sure it is healthy, but damn if I don't find it hot.)

Either he's wearing Harry's slippers and pajama pants, or he actually went out and got the same pieces in a different size. (I doubt they wear the same shoe size, but slipper sizes are a bit more forgiving so I could see them working.)

I don't even think it would be that much of a stretch if Eggsy went into Kingsman and ordered one of everything Harry had that wouldn't fit him. (Like the shirt, which I imagine he needed a different size for... Colin has much wider shoulders.)

This seems so damning to me, lol. Like, you are seriously going to steal the man's entire wardrobe?! Being Galahad does not require you become Harry, Eggsy. (He has it so bad for Harry. So bad.)

Yeahhh. Definitely not a thing that happens with other people and their mentors. Roxy is probably judging the hell out of him.

He just has some boundary issues in general and sort of acts like a puppy around Harry. If Harry came back home, I sort of imagine he would follow him from room to room like eating food off his plate and sitting on the arm of his chair rather than having his own.

Roxy has probably teased him about it, yes. However, I imagine she also realizes how hard Harry's death was on Eggsy so she's mostly supportive of his...idek what to call it, thirst? Admiration? Obsession?

His home life probably factors into it, too! Of course Eggsy's mother loves him, but she's been in a bad situation...she hasn't been able to support him like Eggsy no doubt would have wanted. Emotionally, he's a bit starved of affection (and safety) and having Harry believe in him and be so proud of him (and give him a chance to better protect himself) was a big deal. It's no wonder he adores Harry so much.

If Harry came back home, I sort of imagine he would follow him from room to room like eating food off his plate and sitting on the arm of his chair rather than having his own.

That would not even surprise me. He would be so shocked and pleased that Harry was alive that he wouldn't want to let him out of his sight. Harry would kind of think it was sweet and flattering, until he could barely take a piss without Eggsy asking after him, then he would tell him to back off, lol.

Thirst. It's thirst. He's thirsty.
I'm tired but I'm sure I'm right about this.

I just want to hug him and call him a good egg. :(
