I was about to say this, LMAO.

But more seriously, there has been plenty of people pissed off about the fact the writers keep relying on rape-by-deception for drama. (Grimm did the same thing this past season, too, wtf). When I heard about S4a it was the final nail in the coffin. I stopped after S3 and I don't regret it.

It sucks because the first season was pretty good and had potential but then it just went downhill from there.

Really? I'm doin a rewatch because I missed most of the last season, and season 1 is such a fucking slog to get through. I can't wait for 2 and 3.

As large, no, but it's still one of ABC's best-watched shows.

Actually, halfway through S4 the ratings dropped really hard and never recovered. I can't imagine it's going to putter along for much longer. Once more season, maybe two tops before someone puts it out of its misery. Or they replace the writers and suddenly the show improves.

Did the ratings rise beforehand due to the Frozen crossover?

The ratings rose due to the Frozen cashcow, but started to plummet right after that. They hit an all time low in S4. They don't have anything lined up for S5 to draw that big crowd back in again afaik, so I think they're fucked.

If the ratings stay exactly where they were for the last part of the season, it will get another after this.

I did say they could squeeze out two more seasons before it's finally done for. I have a feeling there's nothing they can really do anymore to improve the ratings, though. They're going to keep dropping and the plots are going to get more ridiculous and desperate. As if the Frozen arc wasn't already desperation enough.

If they make it to a season seven I'm going to be very impressed.

Seriously. I really enjoyed the first season, and when I was talking to an RP friend who actually roleplays characters from the show about whether I should pick it up again I got a very vehement "No. Do not. Only disappointment waits for you if you do."
