(Anonymous) 2015-08-01 02:28 am (UTC)(link)God, it was awful. The beef was fatty and greasy and covered in batter, the sort of thing I'd expect in a budget Chinese restaurant. I couldn't finish the meal, it tasted so bad. I felt sick for an hour afterwards.
I was so mad they were trying to pass this shit off as Japanese. I actually felt insulted. The authentic Japanese cuisine I've tried has been all about clean flavours. Not that mess on a plate.
Not a single other person at our table could finish their meal, either. I think that was the one time we've ever asked for our money back. They offered to make it again and we were like: "NOOOOOOO."
