My computer got reset, so hopefully I will stop having driver issues that make it bluescreen. (sadly, now I have to reinstall everythinggggg boohoo)

It's true :(
It turns out that despite trying to get a decent laptop and spending time researching, the one I chose is probably not the best one for what I need it to do. It's just not quite strong enough, especially not for some of the graphics programs.
I'm stuck with it for the next few years, though... barring an anonymous benefactor...
