I dunno. Switzerland, maybe. Or Norway. Norway would be cool.
The problem with these countries is that they're cold as fuck. Hard to enjoy gorgeous scenery when you're in subzero temperatures.

Maybe Spain. Does Spain get cold?

It does in the mountains on the French border, that is where the OP wants to go to.

The problem with Nordics isn't the fucking cold, it is they get three hours of daylight on a good day in winter. That would kill me that would.

I would have been ready to kick puppies for three hours of daylight last winter. For months the weather was so cloudy that even the few hours that the sun was supposed to be up were murky grey at best.

Cold is fucking great as long as you don't get really heavy snowfall or really short days.

The problem with those places is I hate the idea of being really bad at speaking the language.

I'm under the impression that a large portion of the world speaks 'Merican. I'll be okay language-wise.

It's that damned cold that'll kill me. Keep your frigid temperatures. I want to sweat!
