A lot of actual canon poly relationships I can think of are kind of cringe-y.

I mean, there's Big Love, there's the not great way the one in Threesome developed, there's the terrible way it's even suggested in Chasing Amy, Summer Lovers was kind of sad in parts, The Dreamers is just messed-up.

I think Hardison/Parker/Eliot(Leverage) and El/Peter/Neal(White Collar) would work well. Plus, I agree with an above poster about Don/Kathy/Cosmo. Oh, and I think the Butch/Sundance/Etta subtext was so, so close to text.

Fuck yes, how could I have forgotten that one?! (I'm the anon who mentioned Don/Kathy/Cosmo.) Such a fantastic movie too, the shippy subtext is the perfect icing on top of a perfect cake.
