Re: What's wrong
(Anonymous) 2015-08-06 02:02 am (UTC)(link)Last night, for instance, I slept for about an hour at 3 a.m., but then I woke up at 4, too mentally exhausted to actually do anything but unable to sleep until about 10. After which I was dead to he world for 5 hours, and if this weren't my weekend I'd have been screwed because I slept through my alarm and didn't wake up until an hour and a half after I would have been expected at work.
I've actually been late to work three times for this very reason (once by an hour on a day that I was the boss). So I need to figure that shit out.

(Anonymous) 2015-08-06 02:22 am (UTC)(link)I'm going to try getting more exercise and see if for some reason that lack has decided all of a sudden to be what's keeping me up. Also adjusting my caffeine consumption. But if this shit carries into September, I'm talking to a doctor.

I go through periods like that too (where at most I sleep for a couple hours, or I'm waking up what feels like 15 times a damn night) but rarely do they last over a month. I think I'd see a doc, tbh... It would be worth it, I think.
The only thing I can think of on the advice front is: I've heard if you have trouble sleeping you should get up, have a small snack, maybe read for a little bit and try to go back to bed. I never eat once I've went to bed though, and while I do sometimes read when I wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes that ends with me reading three hours straight before I try to go back to sleep. So... Yea. Not sure how good that plan is.
Good luck!
