I think I may have accidentally seen CP recently, on a tumblr that was supposed to be for yaoi. They were live naked pictures of boys that looked like young teenagers. I immediately freaked out, closed the tab, cleared my history, and am a) convincing myself that I'm about to be arrested and b) feeling like I need to find that tumblr again for the sake of reporting it.

What's the right thing to do if you unintentionally come across something like that, especially if it's on a website where users submit stuff (such as 4chan or tumblrs or whatever)? I'm seriously disturbed.

id be kidding but i'm not. either way i think people would be able to tell if someone saw a picture accidentally vs searched extensively for it, similar images, and similar porn over a long period of time

Check Tumblr's rules and FAQs. I'm sure they have a place to report content that violates their rules, and child porn would definitely qualify.

Oh I'd fear not. I frequent B. There is a large possibility I have seen criminal material. You need a two pronged attack

1. The self delusion that it's probably fake. One of those "The girl looks super young but she's legal and is consenting and this is just supposed to look like child rape because people are into that so ofcourse legal porn of it is out there"

2. Realise that you did not go looking for it, and if I can survive three years on 4chan's B without arrest, you'll probably be fine.

Oh, I think I know which tumblr you're talking about, since I followed it recently, saw the CP and unfollowed. Reporting it to tumblr will have the blog being shut down.
