Most disturbing thing you've seen online?

Let's assume trigger warnings here. :(

8chan raid, I guess. Bunch of gore and snuff.

When I started up tumblr, one of the recommended blogs was a hardcore gore blog and don't really know why.

Also goatsee.

I think I may have accidentally seen CP recently, on a tumblr that was supposed to be for yaoi. They were live naked pictures of boys that looked like young teenagers. I immediately freaked out, closed the tab, cleared my history, and am a) convincing myself that I'm about to be arrested and b) feeling like I need to find that tumblr again for the sake of reporting it.

What's the right thing to do if you unintentionally come across something like that, especially if it's on a website where users submit stuff (such as 4chan or tumblrs or whatever)? I'm seriously disturbed.

the NSA already knows!

id be kidding but i'm not. either way i think people would be able to tell if someone saw a picture accidentally vs searched extensively for it, similar images, and similar porn over a long period of time

Check Tumblr's rules and FAQs. I'm sure they have a place to report content that violates their rules, and child porn would definitely qualify.

I was trying to search images for an art project, and it came up with the bloody body of someone the pic referred to as a "snitch." I didn't click, so I don't know the exact context.

I followed back someone who I thought had a decent amount in common with me. Turns out they also liked posting gruesome pics of dead bodies. That's when I started being a lot more careful about who I followed back.

Inside body parts of suicide victims and people dying right before your eyes, the killing of Khadaffi (he was a bastard, but no-one deserves that) and chicken fucking (animal cruelty is an understatement). I was very curious once, but I'm cured now.

Probably 2girls1cup. Most other shock sites I'm either desensitized to (goatse, tubgirl, etc.) or I was already desensitized before I saw it. 1guy1jar made me laugh until I fell out of my chair, which probably means there's something wrong with me.

I could be a jerk and say that Hulk/Nat rape gif. It was pretty disturbing. Just the mentality behind that, to go, "Oh, that's hot."

But really disturbing? Seeing men's heads removed, not with a single sword-cut, but with smaller knives and a bit of sawing. They may have already been dead or unconscious. This was when I was watching videos about anti-Shia violence in Pakistan.

It's still that ?german? murder, 3 guys torturing and killing some other guy with a drill. Then they released the video online? Makes me sick.

I don't even remember enough details to find out if the killers were caught :(

I'm a camgirl and a client admitted to me that he had child porn, then left before I could report his IP to the police D: The site won't do anything about complaints of this nature because they just say "oh, he was trying to shock you".

Autopsy/murder victim photos. Some guy used to love posting those to children's sites. I hope his eyeballs slowly rot out of his skull, tbh.

The attitude of "(group X/group I don't like) aren't people, lol, and you're stupid/one of the enemy "group" for suggesting it."

I'm serious. It genuinely disturbs me every time I see these kids pushing the idea that it's "us against them" and "you're either with us or against us". Calling people trash when they disagree. "Lol you're literal human garbage, kill yourself".

I'm not sure how long this will be in on the internet but it's made me try to talk to my kid sister (who's approaching teenhood in about a year) and make sure she doesn't fall into this line of thinking and the endless echo chambers of hate. I want her to be able to think for herself what's wrong and right.

But still every time I see it, it chills me to the bone.

this collage of blog posts about guys who purposefully try to infect other people with HIV (either by lying about having it, sabotaging condoms, or, in some cases, rape). Not just not mentioning it because of laziness or fear of rejection (though that is also horrible) but actively trying to infect others because they got off on it.

It wasn't the most physically disturbing (there were no images, just words) but it was one of the darkest and most awful aspects of humanity I have ever encountered. Like. How can people be like that?

Hmm. Let's see...

Someone forcing their pet snake to give them a BJ (which was weirdly funny, but poor snake), waterboarding porn which seemed kind of dangerous but then I only saw a clip so I don't know how safe it was really.... a vid of some guy using a beer bottle as a dildo but the bottle breaks and he pulls glass out of his anus for the remaining 3 seconds of video...

And then the usual purported security cam videos of rapes, public suicides, murders, etc.

Oh and CP of some guy ejaculating on the face of a several month old infant.

Is there a prize, and if so do I win it?

Two words: Spyro. Subway.

That and a nasty bout of food poisoning (I got a few years before I saw this unholy terror) is why I haven't eaten at one of their restaurants again and never will again for rest of my life, much less even go near another 'Spyro' game (yes, this includes Skylanders) without feeling like I want to puke a little in my mouth.

Pictures of some of the suicide victims in Aokigahara. Though those are not so much disturbing as they are sad.

I've accidentally seen gifs (fortunately not the video) of that Russian murder - Two guys, one hammer I think it's called?

Then several very destroyed corpses and body parts tend to come up while searching for pictures of large predators like bears - seems inevitable.

I think the Hulk/Black Widow gif secret in Friday's secret comes close to the most disturbing thing I've seen.
