The attitude of "(group X/group I don't like) aren't people, lol, and you're stupid/one of the enemy "group" for suggesting it."

I'm serious. It genuinely disturbs me every time I see these kids pushing the idea that it's "us against them" and "you're either with us or against us". Calling people trash when they disagree. "Lol you're literal human garbage, kill yourself".

I'm not sure how long this will be in on the internet but it's made me try to talk to my kid sister (who's approaching teenhood in about a year) and make sure she doesn't fall into this line of thinking and the endless echo chambers of hate. I want her to be able to think for herself what's wrong and right.

But still every time I see it, it chills me to the bone.
