It just annoys me that both movies have overshadowed The Princess & the Frog which I loved much, much more than either of them.

The Princess & the Frog had the best songs of any modern Disney, I think. And an actual female friendship!

This. Personally, I found Tangled and Frozen to be generic, boring, uninspired, and fairly forgettable all around. After I saw both I just had a that's it?? reaction and don't get the hype for either. Princess and the Frog deserved better.

Princess and the Frog had a great beginning and ending. But that middle is just sort of ... blah.

I remember thinking that if they took the good things about PatF and the good things about Tangled and put them together, then we'd have a great Disney movie again. Because they each had good parts the other lacked.

Frozen probably got the closest to that, IMO, though it's still not one of my favs from Disney (might be in the top 10 though).
