Yes to the MRAs, though (surprise!) they weren't nearly as mouthy in person as they are online. In person, they were just bitter older white men who were having a lot of problems adjusting to the fact that things weren't going 100% their way. They'd gotten a divorce and had to pay child support but their kid wasn't speaking to them... it's all the fault of those damn feminists!

That's really interesting because AFAIK most people seem to imagine MRA as whiny entitled 20-something white males, not bitter old men. On the internet, anyway

I'm sure they exist too. In fact, my 30yo single brother is a whiny anti-feminist type who has a literal neckbeard, poor personal hygiene, lives with our parents, and spends all his waking hours on the internet or PC gaming. Because I advocated for the family dog to be spayed, he accused me of wanting to chop its dick off because I was a man-hating lesbian. Would not surprise me if he was an online MRA.

Yeah, that's the majority of the movement these days, I think. The ones I met were very old school and very adamant that it was really about upholding the rights of men when it came to custody disputes, things like that. But honestly, the core sentiments were very much the same, as was the contempt for women.

The only MRA I know is 20 something whiny entitled white boy. He'd spout the most random crap about women. I cant comment much more because he became so unpleasant to deal with that ive distanced myself. His Facebook was frustrating though.
