More Dragon Age

That "Anders did nothing wrong." Someone's reasons can be understandable, but despite that their actions can still be wrong.

I absolutely agree. (Though I don't see much "Anders did nothing wrong" these days.)

That's true, actually. I do see a lot of posts still justifying why it was okay for him to blow up the Chantry.

It's true that they were oppressive. But blowing up oppressive organisations isn't going to solve anything.

I just wish fans were a bit more mature (which may be unreasonable since Tumblr Dragon Age fans do seem to skew very young). Or at be able to at least make a distinction between criticising the character and criticising fans of the character.

I don't doubt people that believe that are still around, but I thought they were being quiet. (Or, well, quieter than they were after DA2.)

The Chantry is definitely far from faultless, but no, I wouldn't say what he did was okay.

(I say this as someone who genuinely enjoys Anders as a character. It's totally okay to point out that a character did something you deem terrible; it isn't automatically a criticism of the fans.)

I'm sorry, all I can think of is that one manly guys comic where the inquisitor harasses Sten.

I've never seen it! But now I need to because it sounds hilarious.

Sten should've been in Inquisition, jfc.

Haha, thank you anon! I was going to google it but unsurprisingly I forgot. I love it.

I had a thing for Sten as well and lept at any opportunity to make him like me. In almost all my games I suggested visiting him, even if I was already in a romance and didn't want to break from that character. I just love the idea of the Warden and Sten being close, even if they aren't romantic. (Though, don't get me wrong, we should've been able to romance him; I headcanon that Sten has a thing for the Warden too, what with him calling the Warden 'kadan'. Even if it doesn't need to be taken in a romantic way...I totally do.)
