Not as much as high school was the point. If you're going to say office bullying overall is worse and more rampant than the kind in high school you are either old enough to have forgotten what it was like or were exceptionally lucky enough to attend an atypical high school.

I wasn't even bullied, but it was everywhere.

IMO it's just as prevalent, it just takes different forms.

There's a lot in both places and a lot of individual variation in experiences.

My general observations: in the workplace it's often more insidious but also harder to get rid of because the people who do it and get away with it have pulled the right strings and they're hard to dislodge, even if other professionals - including their own higher-ups - are vocal about wanting them gone. In school I think it's kind of the opposite - the authorities can get rid of a bully student* but they often can't be arsed to.

*teachers are a whole 'nother ballgame...
