There are always multiple secrets over whatever is currently popular. Look at Death Note, for instance. Grin and bear it; some other wildly popular series will eventually come along to take its place, leaving everyone free to baw about too much of it too.

Okay, I know you, and I know you know who I am, so skipping the secrety bull here.

Sweetheart, NOTHING about still feeling sad over a lost friend when you see what is basically your memorial to him is pathetic. Watching that video, for you, is like reading a eulogy you gave at his funeral all over again.

I still have things I've written that I can't re-read without sobbing, pieces of art I poured my soul into that I would never look at again given the choice...

It's not pathetic to still be sad. What's important is that you recognize that even though you're sad, what you made in Ben's memory makes other people happy, again and again. So even if you can't watch it without feeling down, other people are feeling joy in your place.

Nobody smiles at a gravestone, love. Don't feel like you should have to. *HUGS*

17. He's like canonical filler. No bit of his plot has interested me either, and he just seems like a character to "fill Sasuke's void." I can understand how you feel.

22. What's wrong with having your own taste in art? Just because something's less detailed and more cute, doesn't mean it's not as good. He's ignorant for not giving it a try based soley on the art, but the art is a big part of it too-- it's the presentation, so I can understand not wanting to read and look at something visually unappealing. His loss, get over it.

22: I dunno, I think not liking the art style is a pretty valid reason to not check something out. A long series in a style you can't stand is kind of hard to take. Unless I'm really, really interested in the plot, I don't bother with serieses I don't like the art style of.

That's stupid. If something were really too good for the tasteless, they probably wouldn't find it that appealing anyway, since it probably doesn't provide the kind of gratification they go for. If it's legitimately good and appealing to the masses, having a few more fans shouldn't change anything about its quality. Fans don't write the shows, they just fan them.

22: I don't really see what's shallow about that. I don't know anything about Death Note, but it seems like a pretty valid reason, same as liking a book's plot but hating the writing style. *shrugs*
