2. Man, I loved that show. I will still gladly sit and watch it when it's on.

3. Honestly, lame comments "lol" (especially if you get a bunch of "lol"s on the same piece or by the same person) and tons of favs with no comments are one of my pet-peeves, right next to comments that have nothing to do with the actual piece in question (comments like "I love that show!" with nary a word about the drawing.
I would rather a comment than a fav. I think most artists would. Favs...sit there. I don't really check them. Comments I check. Artists...we're vain, usually. We spend a freaking lot of time on some of these pieces, and darn it if we don't like to be acknowledged. For me (and my socially crippling ways), half the time, my drawings are my way of reaching out and starting a conversation ("Hey, wasn't that episode of LoM great?" "Ever thing how this song fits with this character.") It's not hard to feel a little put-out when you don't get an actual response.

25. I shipped "Vheeler!" and Linka before I even knew what shipping was, way back in the day when that show was still new. Honestly, they were pretty much my reason for watching it.
Oh man, I hope Wheeler isn't where I got my thing for redheads from...

39. Why not play them anyway and play it from that angle? That's one of the things I love about Shakespeare--there's enough subtext that really, a skillful actor can get just about any interpretation they want from a lot of the relationships.
I just keep thinking of Merchant of Venice and the Antonio/Bassanio and Jessica/Lancelot subtext there.

9: We could all use a Phoenix Wright. The thing is, though, that a lot of us don't find them. Sometimes you don't get that outside push and it's up to you to makes these realizations and changes for yourself. It might take some fumbling and some shittiness, but you'll get there.

That said, I need a Phoenix Wright and a Miles Edgeworth so we can have a sexayh OT3 ;)

19: Persona 3 has taught me to ignore my life and manage my time very poorly. I CAN'T STOP PLAYING IT!!!! It doesn't help that I'm trying to get through it before February 20th or so, when GS4 comes out D:

Could someone enlighten me on this alleged KuroFai wank? 'Cos I'm a member of the community, and must be missing all the 'wtf'-ery of this corner of fandom :/

Basically fans had been posting threesome pairings to the comm when it wasn't allowed. After a bunch of complaints, the mod finally stepped in and said 'stop it', so the odd fan (I guess about 5 in total) started screaming about how they lost their precious KuroFayYuuy porn despite the fact there are 6 or 7 other comms where that pairing allowed.

3. I have those same feelings, on both sides. I love getting faves, but I also wish they'd comment. But I realize a fave without a comment is better than nothing. When people complain about faves without comments or one-worded comments, it makes me feel resentful that they're complaining about either because I'd love more faves, and I'd definitely like more than one comment a month.

(Though it'd probably help if I added to my devART account more than once ever couple of months. ^^; Though, in my defense, it's usually massive amounts of uploads when it does happen)

5. IAWTS. Completely.

6. I loved the movie. Never got to see the play, and the voices of the actors really didn't impress me too much I'm sad to say.

18. As ashamed as I am to admit it sometimes, I would have liked the manga better if he'd won. I don't know about using one IRL, but from a story-line standpoint, I'd have liked to see him win. It would have been more interesting at least.

36. IAWTS!!! They just fit together so much better as friends in my head. My friends think I'm crazy that I prefer an almost canon slash pairing to be... well... non-slash considering how much I slash "straight" characters. But I just think they're such cute friends.

41. Ryoga/Ranma (as slash, het, and both) has always been my Ranma 1/2 OTP. They don't get enough love.

Honestly I liked him until he killed Raye Penbar. His self arrogance made me hate him more, and by the end of the series, I was happy to see Light go out that way in the manga. The anime version on the other hand was too nice to him.

I attended a fairly heteronormative all-girls Catholic college, and in my Shakespeare's comedies class, after we read Twelfth Night, I don't think there was a single student who wasn't going "WTF, why didn't Olivia and Viola stay together." It just makes so much sense, especially since Sebastian and Antonio are so clearly in love as well.

I'm in complete agreement. The best fics I've ever read are ones where the unshipped party is supportive of the couple. That's the main reason I left the fandom. The tradition of making Kairi an unpleasant homophobic bitch is just so old. Her existence (or Riku's existance for that matter) doesn't have to mess with the OTP. I wish the fandom would realize that.
