Re: Broken Suspension of Disbelief

In general, shows (and books, movies etc.) that take place in real places often break my suspension of disbelief if something major happens. I know where NYC is. I know there was no alien invasion in NYC. I know aliens didn't cause problems in London until the Doctor saved everyone. I know they're supposed to be AU versions of those places, it just breaks the scope of fiction somehow.

I know this is weird.
