But if you do talk to your sister, you have to listen to her and you have to respect that she has the feelings she has and she has the right to those feelings. Your priority has to be, above all else, trying to understand where your sister is coming from and how she feels.
It would be better not to talk about it at all than to try and lay a heavy guilt trip on your sister to force her to talk to your mother again. That would do no one any good.
