But what if... you've got it backwards? Perhaps Irish-hating anon's parents were run over and killed by town drunk Connor O'Malley, so he was sent to an orphanage run by total asshole Michael O'Connor, and bullied by mean little bastard Conor O'Connor (Connorception) Michael's son? And the strictest teacher, and the guy he caught cheating with his girlfriend, and the guy who took the last pastrami sandwich at the deli were all named Connor. And Irish-hater anon goes "what do they have in common? Their name!" But slowly, as their hate broadens and deepens, anon grows to hate everything even tangentially related to the name, including where it came from.

Damien is my name of choice, why anyone would name their kid Damien is beyond me, but they certainly live up to the hellion rep
