No, I don't masturbate in the theater. But I tend to unconsciously shift and move when I'm turned on. And my face is very expressive, so I tend having a hard time hiding my emotions, including attraction. Plus I also subconsciously lick or bite my lips sometimes. Totally understandable why you wouldn't watch those movies with your dad. Even if you didn't show outward signs of being turned on, it's just extremely, completely awkward getting horny next to a family member.

I doubt it's as obvious as you think to other people around you, especially in a dark theater, when you're watching an exciting movie which could explain it away. But it's still really awkward and distracting being aroused next to a family member. I do sympathize.

Try to be nice to your dad. :) It's a pity if you let your self-consciousness get in the way of sharing things.

Perhaps practice imagining the situation first, roleplaying it in your head, and then calm yourself slowly and let your emotions settle until you feel more comfortable with the idea of watching the movie with him?
