Welcome to the fundamental problem with "House Style." Both DC and Marvel do it and while I'm used to it, I very much prefer a more eclectic range of styles. Some DC examples would be: Karl Kerschl's Gotham Academy, Babs Tarr's Batgirl, Ben Templesmith's Gotham By Midnight, Cliff Chiang's Wonder Woman (swoon!), and to a lesser extent, Greg Capullo's Batman which feels like a more realistic DCAU.
