People who insult and belittle those who disagree with them on a regular basis and are narrow minded. I unfollowed an old fandom friend a while back but lately when I looked at their blog I've been realizing how narrow minded they are when people disagree or have different political leanings, usually calling them stupid, immature or hypocrites.

Makes me wonder how I didn't pick up on this when we used to talk.

Because we liked them, hadn't learned to see the signs or might've told ourselves "oh I'm just overreacting"... and some things are only obvious when you're not in the middle of it.

I hate when people make up stupid nicknames for people based on politics, like the ever-charming "Libtard." I guess there's a conservative equivalent too, but I haven't seen it.

Oh God, yes.

It drives me nuts. Like "can you sound like any more of a dick"? It would sincerely depress me if people over 30 or 40 used "libtard". It just seems like such a childish word.
