If I don't like the sound of your laughter, especially if you're prone to laughing a lot. I'll avoid talking to you, but if I do I try to keep it as serious and uncomfortable as possible because I don't want to set your guffawing off. I'm sorry, Killer of Ears. You're cool, but I hate you anyways :(

Also, I avoid internet fandomy people irl. Like, the wear-it-on-their sleeve kind. Same goes for anyone who openly talks about how they are from the 4chans/tumblrs/youtubes/etc. (exception of redditors though. less weirdoes ime)

+1 on the wear it on your sleeve fandom type. I've had too many bad encounters that it's just not worth the couple who aren't unbearable or severely maladjusted.

I usually don't mind as much people who have/wear stealth fandom things in public, like something you'd only get if you were into the fandom yourself, but even then you have to be careful.

For me, conventions and those spaces notwithstanding, fandom should be like fight club.
