I'm behind this week (damn you Dragon Age, for pulling me back in) but I'm enjoying it a lot! (And will catch up over the weekend.)

I watched Stephen for years on The Colbert Report, and when he and Jon ended their shows it felt like there was a weird void, so seeing him back on television feels right. I love his sense of humor (some of the sketches are silly, but IDC, I still like them), I love that he's still talking about politics (and hope he keeps at it! It's what he does best) and has had fun or insightful interviews. He did a great job with both Jeb and Joe Biden. I hope there are more serious interviews to come, because although I enjoy the lightheartedness of the show in general, he's good with those too.

Plus, he's pretty and I enjoy watching him sing and dance on a regular basis.

If you like him on The Late Show, I think you would enjoy TCR. IMO The Colbert Report is a much stronger show, but of course Stephen is new to late night so I won't hold that against him; it's going to take a while for him to get used to things. (For instance, not playing a character.)

I just adored the format of The Colbert Report...and again, his sense of humor is so on point. He had some amazing interviews on that show, but I'm looking forward to seeing what he comes up with for this one. He hasn't disappointed me yet.

(Also, he's basically the biggest Tolkien nerd on the planet. Thought that might interest you.)

He really is! I love how he's doing the 'hair flip' at the start of the show. I always found that amusing and that he kept with it is so cute and charming to me, lol.
