nothing wrong with disliking her - but why compare on the the female characters to her, and not all of them?

I'm not quite sure what you mean...? My mentality is basically "no female character is ever as bad as Kate." For example, when I started watching Arrow I knew that Laurel Lance was not a popular character, so I was somewhat expecting not to like her.

Then when I started watching I remember thinking: "she's not so bad - clearly these people have never seen Kate!" Now Laurel is one of my favourites.

The same things has happened with plenty of other female characters - while everyone else is busy hating on them, I'm left thinking "hey, I survived KATE."

Interesting. I've never seen this show, but it sounds like Laurel is to me what Kate is to you. Now I'm a little bit curious.

I think what AYRT was asking is why you separate bad characters into male and female.
