was a result of being in a rush ...but

When I was at Walmart today, I left something I decided not to buy on a shelf rather than putting it back where it belongs. I am sorry, Walmart sales associates. I completely understand if you hate me and want me to step on a lego right now.

(Yes, I am a retail worker)

"Step on a lego" is an obnoxious phrase that needs to die.

+1

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Eh, it'e better than some alternatives. To me it's an odd little way to express hatred or anger towards someone without wishing serious harm on them.

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Why?

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Because this anon hates it, and everyone needs to drop what they're doing and cater to anon's whims. /s

Seriously though it comes across as incredibly entitled for someone to whine to a stranger not to use a phrase cause it annoys you. Like hell certain words and terms annoy me but I don't bitch every time someone uses them, Good God.

Not the OP, but I know I hate it because it makes whoever's saying it sound like a child. It's like they were trying for hyperbole and blew right past it into simply stupid.

Your icon is stupid.

*gasp!* How can I ever go on after receiving the disapproval of an F!S anon?! Lawdy, somebody find the smelling salts, because I do believe I'm about to faint at the injustice of it all!

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Snerk. Great icon-response to that comment.

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
This pretty much. It's like saying "Teeheehee! I'm mad, but I'm cute! Teehee!" Or in this case "I gave you reason to be mad at me, but aren't I cute lil babby!"

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Or maybe its just a term someone may like to use, and they don't care if it grinds some random person's gears.

Because some people think fun words or phrases have usability meters that fill after a certain number of uses and at that point the word loses all meaning/entertainment value.

Or something.

I'm sorry

I used it half jokingly, and because me and my friends tend to use it as a joke in our friends circle. I didn't realize it bothered people.

Hey as long as it's not a perishable, it's not fatal.

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

(Anonymous) 2015-10-02 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
This. I'm fairly easygoing about non-perishables. They don't take much time to sort out and put back. Meat or dairy, though? Grrrrrrr!

Re: What's the most evil thing you've done today?

[personal profile] dani_phantasma 2015-10-03 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Nah it was a candy box.

I would never do that with perishables or anything cold (even a can of soda). I still remember how much it used to piss me off when people do it. Like the joker who left meat in the PILLOW and interior decor aisle when I worked at Target.

Wow. That's terrible.

Yeah I was like "what even?" . Basic manners would say that you should at LEAST try to leave something cold in a cold place.

Otherwise its just wasted food.

ew indeed.

We (my job coach and I, it was my first job) had to throw the thing away

Please tell me they didn't hide it.

This is reminding me of the story about the shrimp in the curtain rods.

As someone who once did presentation (tidying shelves), this is true. If it's still sealed, it can simply be returned to it's proper shelf.

Perishables will likely end up in the rubbish section out of caution.
