8. ouch... actually, I know people who know Vic, and they say he's nice... however, his fanbase SUCKS, they are weird psycho's who forced one of my videos goofing off Vic to be taken down becuase they treat him like an idol that shouldn't be made fun of...

Also, I don't think he's "AMAZING" but he's acceptable as far as anime voice actors go...(the only VA I ever found "AMAZING" was Steve Blum, and that was only during Zabuza's final scene where he speaks to Haku before dying) but that's it

But that's the thing that's getting to me. 'Cause okay, let's say real = biological, which considering half of my family was adopted by one or both parents I'll vehemently protest, and I'm sure HRG would have LOADS to say about that, but for the sake of argument, that's never been confirmed with Lyle. I could swear there's a mention in the cut scenes from the DVD set that he was adopted as well, and then there's this from Wikipedia:

Lyle's actual parentage has been questioned, after isolated instances of him being referred to as adopted; upon being questioned about it, one of the creators declined to answer directly, instead saying "for now, consider Lyle's true parentage undetermined."

Why would they make the origins of their other more attention-starved child so ambiguous unless there was going to be a reason for it later? If it's so unimportant, why wouldn't they just handwave and say, "Yeah, they conceived him after getting Claire"? When the Heroes writers are vague about something, it's usually because they're going to use it later.

tl;dr translation? "Watch next season, as Lyle finds out he's also adopted and shoots laser beams out of his eyes for fun at his sister!"

I agree with you in the sense of people lumping threesomes together just because they don't want the third party left out, but the pairing you've pictured is mainly written, in my experience, as a loving circle in which no character is a potential third wheel and was only brought in cause the writer thought they would get lonely.

8. Ok, I'm sorry, but I have to say something about this because I keep seeing these Vic-hate secrets.

I don't know what experiences these fans you say Vic has been rude to have had with him but I can definitely say he has been nothing but polite and sweet to me.

I first heard Vic's voice in that videogame, Unlimited SaGa. I immediately loved it but I had no idea who the voice actor was. Later the FMA dub came out and I loved Ed's voice too, so I looked up the voice actor and, behold, it was the same guy as the character in Unlimited SaGa. I found out Vic had an AIM sn and an email you could write to him at but I was way too shy to even attempt to contact him. My friend took a chance and IMed him to tell him about how I'd been trying to gather the courage to contact him to tell him how much I liked his work. Do you know what Vic did? HE emailed ME to thank me for my support. I wrote back with what I had always intended to say and he replied in the nicest way ever.

I later met him in person at a con and he was super nice to me, took his time talking to me, and gave me the biggest hug ever. One of my friends met him at a different con in a different state and reported an even nicer experience where he took the time to speak to her at length about music (she's a music performance major).

Now, I have no idea what has happened since then that has made people dislike him so much, but I at least wanted to share my experience so you can maybe understand why some of us DO like him so much. For me, it's sort of the inverse in that I can't understand why some people seem to hate him.

P.S: Before you write me off as some creepy rabid fan, please know that I'm really not. It's been years since I've watched one of his shows (actually, FMA is the only one) and I'm not even part of the Rizembool Rangers.

I quit after 2 1/2 years of 4+ hours per day. I feel so much better now, but it took a while to get over my guilt about deserting my LS, and abandoning my character after so much work, and to figure out how to use my free time again. I miss some stuff though, mostly *places* that I want to go back to. Homesick for a country that doesn't really exist.
