F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required.
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

Ask for a type of canon or feel free to pimp your favorites (why do you love it/what is it/where is it/etc.)

(define small however you please)

Going off anon for this - if anyone wants the full set of links for downloading Murder Rooms, please send me a PM. (the eps are on my Dropbox&OD).

I mean, I assume that at this point everyone on f!s has read me rambling about the series... but it's a dark five-episode Victorian costume drama about Arthur Conan Doyle and the prototype of Sherlock Holmes, Dr Joseph Bell. They're sad and desperately want to adopt each other (seriously, the levels of quasi-familial love in this series are unbelievable). And they solve cool crimes.

If anyone wants to recommend me their small canon that includes Epic Friendship(TM) where two people cling onto each other like whoa, I would be very grateful indeed 8_8

Just to pick one, Route 666 has a female protagonist with psychic abilities. Cassie was able to see the dead when she was little, and that ability is brought back after the death of her friend in college. She's sent to an asylum where she develops a further ability to see the real faces of monsters who are hiding out as humans. 2 monsters attack her and she kills them, but they look human so now she's on the run from monsters and the Feds.

The setting for this is an alien planet that looks like 1950s America. You get the Cold War feel, and the monsters look a lot like the ones from the 1950s monster movies. It's a horror comic but it's got some good humor and Cassie really is an awesome character.

And that's just one of CrossGen's awesome titles!

It's so good! It has the best spies, deceit, humor, short and long plot arcs that are well thought out, mystery, romance, hard action, suspense, gripping moments... Check it out!
