F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required.
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

General:
Halloween costumes

Fandom-general:
Porn comics
F/F recs
Guilty pleasures

Fandom-specific:
Girl Meets World

Who cares about personal politics? He's diplomatic in his modding duties and the comm runs smoothly.

Idk I would hesitate to vote anyone whose politics I don't know. What if they turn out to be racist and sexist and shitty but good at keeping order?*

*Lots of historical examples of this, see: trains running on time. Not saying anyone is but you can't know that.

People can be prejudiced and still be good people, or leaders.

Maybe you don't look at his comments a lot but I'm pretty sure case isn't like that.

I'm pretty sure too, I'm not bashing anyone.

It has nothing to do with who the person in question is, I'm more wary about uh, "the action of choosing anyone whose politics you don't know"? Lots of things have never come up here to be commented on. I'm one of those people that reads up on the entire voting histories of politicians though, so...

Frankly I don't care if someone is racist and sexist, as long as it doesn't guide their choices in a system "for the people".

I think it says a lot more for a leader to ignore their own personal principles to concede the majority want X and to provide them X. Or to realise that Y minority should be equal even if they personally do not like Y minority.
