F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required.
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

General:
Halloween costumes

Fandom-general:
Porn comics
F/F recs
Guilty pleasures

Fandom-specific:
Girl Meets World

Not tired of the topic per se, but I'm tired of people countering religious beliefs with "well that's not true" or "god doesn't exist anyway." Not because I don't usually agree with their causes, but... I swear people don't understand that religious zealots believe it, and telling them they don't is the same thing (to them) as when they tell you evolution isn't real. It's pointless. Come up with something better.

It seems to me sometimes like not believing in a god has come full circle as being an edgy thing again. Not saying all atheists are tryna be edgy but comments like that need to at least try harder if they're sincere.

I blame r/atheism for the proliferation of it, honestly. The attitudes of some of those people, from what my atheist friends have told me, hasn't really helped the general public image of atheism in recent years. The aggressive, condescending, and downright nasty/judgemental attitudes of the vocal minority has pretty much turned them into the types of religious people they dislike, yet lack the self-awareness to realize this.

(And yes, I'm well aware there are religious types out there like this)

I'd imagine what happened recently in Oregon hasn't helped matters much, either, since the shooter primarily targeted religious people and had a major hate-on for organized religion, too...
