F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)
Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.
Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required.
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.
That's about it, though!
I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

(Anonymous) 2015-10-18 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)Also, I'm this sick of the war between theatrical versions and special editions, when they're just the same movies, only altered a bit. It shouldn't ruin anyone's experience and people should watch them the same way others views LOTR theatrical and extended versions. I'm not anticipating The Force Awakens either, since I'm not a big Abrams fan (I might have prefered someone like Whedon, especially for the Prequels). I think it's time for me to hang up the gloves for this fandom.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-18 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)I don't hate all the changes to the special editions, but the altered conversation with the Emperor in Empire Strikes Back, is just horrible in my opinion.
It's like saying Godzilla King of the Monsters and Gojira are the same movie, or Superman II Donner and Lester cuts, or Robotech or Macross... there's reasons why one might prefer one version over another.
LOTR on the other hand dosen't contradict the theatrical films, it just includes content cut for time.
