I'm a senior art major and its really hitting me that I am barely getting by in a useless major and what that means for my (lack of a) future. My depression is getting worse and worse, making getting out of bed barely doable, but between losing my health insurance recently and the fact that my parents don't believe me and just think I'm lazy, I don't know if I can bring myself to get help. Its getting harder and harder to pretend I'm okay to my friends and girlfriend, but they have their own problems and I feel like if I stop it will be putting undue burden on them and is abusive or something. My girlfriend keeps talking about our future together because it comforts her when she's sad, but recently it just upsets me more, because I can't see myself having a future, and certainly not the ideal one she wants.
