I've been alone with my parents' dogs all weekend (okay, they're sort of my dogs, too, since we all live together, but I am a footnote in the dogs' minds), and three of the four of them are high-maintenance, including one who has a seizure disorder of unknown origin (we have taken him to the vet repeatedly, but nothing conclusive) that's getting progressively worse. They are wearing me out.
