Bad being good: The zombies in Warm Bodies. The ghosts in Harry Potter. The gargoyles in Gargoyles.

Good being bad: The Dark Elves in Thor 2 maybe? I guess for many people, angels are considered forces of good. So there are numerous examples of evil angels. Dogma, The Prophecy, Legion. Though most of that is angels fighting each other.

But in Scandinavian mythos Dark Elves (Svart Alfar, as opposed to Lios Alfar) are generally hostile to humans (when they bother us at all). So I can see this being applied to Elves generally, more or less (and so I will toss in the Elves from Hellboy II); but the Svart Alfar have always been viewed in a cautious light.

Hey, showing my age, but what about Cujo? Big cuddly Saint Bernard... :D Or I suppose the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, lol...
