This. I saw some humanized Rocket and Groot once and quickly 'noped' out as fast as possible.

Either give me the original, non-human versions or nothing at all, imo.

It's not like they're trying to impress anyone they're just exploring what the character could look like.

It's a crutch to what? ~originality~?

Fanart is for fun. It's one thing to say it gives you a certain reaction but your statement is subjective. It comes off like "you're doing fanart wroooooooooooong"

I got no problem with artists genuinely reinterpreting silhouettes or other significant features for human-shaped versions of a character. But for purposes of getting off, why why WHY draw Generic Hawt Anime Girl/Guy versions of a character you like so that the genitals "fit together" better?
