Ross is a psycho. He lost custody of his son and doesn't even recognize him at Monica's wedding. He talks about him twice in the last two seasons and that it. He thinks he is a nice guy but really he is just a neck beard away from being a "nice guy". Did you see the episode where he was fired from the museum because someone stole his sandwich?? The guy is unbalanced.

God I really, really don't like Ross either. I've been rewatching all seasons on Netflix lately, and there's really none of his storylines that is remotely interesting to me. And don't get me started on his goddamn stupid relationship with Rachel...

I actually really like Ross. If I'd met a Ross IRL, I would've gone for him--and trust me, I am a hardcore feminist who despises self-proclaimed Nice Guys. I don't see him as that.

God bless this secret. I'm not a huge fan of the show and haven't seen a lot of it, but Ross is a genuinely bad person in addition to being a very grating character. Fuck him.

Tbh, they're all shitty characters, but that made the show enjoyable to me.

I can see why people hate Ross though. I think the worst episode for me is where he's so against the idea of having a male nanny. I know they explain his issue towards the end but it doesn't mean anything when they fire the guy and hire a female nanny in the next episode.

Though I get more annoyed when people who hate Ross then act like Joey, the serial womanizer and inventor of the dreaded 'friendzone' term, is a saint.

Yeah, I do, too. My biggest issue with Ross is that he was horrible to Rachel when they were dating and break/no break dispute aside, he was a shitheel about that whole situation for pretty much the duration of the show.

Ted Mosby was a jerk, and he did some jerkish things, but I don't think he ever managed the sustained jerkosity that Ross was capable of.

All the Friends characters are kind of shitty tbh. I always found Ross to be the funniest, but at the same time was so annoyed by him and his nasally voice. So basically the two aren't mutually exclusive.
