(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:11 am (UTC)(link)I think he looks like mashed potatoes wearing a wig. This is Mean and Not Good of me, but *man*, his looks are lost on me.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:24 am (UTC)(link)It is harsh, but I wanted to offload it in the meanest way to just get it off of me and then be more reasonable. He has, to be more fair and less descriptive, a VERY square face, which is usually pretty lost on me.
But he was great in Winter Soldier, and I liked him in The Martian, too.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:15 am (UTC)(link)Also people write memoirs which are basically the same thing all the time.
Re: Stuff to get off your chest
(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 12:19 am (UTC)(link)Today, I got up and never changed out of my pajamas. I ate leftover pizza for lunch, then went outside and stared at the sky for a bit and then came back inside and had a bowl of cereal. In a few more hours I'll go back to bed and probably do the same thing tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm sitting here, wishing I had some cake but there is no cake in the house.

My granddad (who I sadly never knew) fought in a war, then designed bridges in Asia and then remarried and moved to South America - regardless of blood ties, I'd read the shit out of that.
There's people who were journalists, or worked for doctors without borders, or who were part of civil rights movements, etc etc. who were not famous but had wildly interesting lives.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 01:30 am (UTC)(link)while being a grown ass adult in their fifties with no sense of personal online security, but whatever about that, I DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER THAN A BASIC GOOGLE FULL STOP.
grown ass adult, tryin' to shit up a celebrity fandom and I just - like above, I got ethics, I'm not gonna crawl down that rabbit hole. but like, she is absolutely out to shit up the place and I don't know what to do.
like, do I take just the basics of what I know and keep the mods in the loop or what? because this is a good corner of the fandom, with sane people, and I can't tell if I'm being overprotective or what.
mostly it's going to come down to ignoring her and not directly engaging, because even typing this much is way more effort than this chick deserves, really.
but it's off my chest, so there it is.
trollin' fans bein' trollin'.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-24 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)That said, whether or not you get diagnosed wouldn't change "whether or not" you had said disorder. And even if you think "something is wrong with you," it might not be the thing you think it is. Sometimes it's just better to know, because at least then you can deal with it first. But of course that isn't up to anyone but you.
Remember you are a person first, not a diagnosis.
