For me, I'm tired of this whole debate. We've had it several times here, and it's the same arguments over and over. I've mentioned how Gus/Shawn's friendship didn't appeal the way that Shawn/Lassiter's rivalry did (and they're not even my first OTP on this show). I have lots of black/white slash ships. None of them are friendships like Gus and Shawn because that's not interesting to me. I have lots of ships with POC characters. But not shipping this one makes me racist.

Gus and Shawn were like brothers, I can't ship them, same reason why I will never ship Fitzsimmons.

But I suppose I'm still a racist piece of shit according to this secret.

Gus is my favorite character in the show. I adored him to pieces. My number 1 OTP of all history is black/white (het ship, but still, interacial couple)

I really don't like Shawn that much. My reason not to ship them is because Gus deserves so much better than Shawn.

But that one is never considered a valid reason. No, one HAS to ship Gus/Shawn or be branded a racist.
