I can speak for the entire cast of us when I say you're more than welcome to try. We don't mind if people don't turn up in chat, we'd love to have you but that's up to you. I can safely say that the dressingroom is the most fun RP I have ever been in- we just let loose and try all manner of characters. I'd never have thought about picking up Phoenix before that place, now I've played him as his younger self, and two AUs.

And I don't think it's possible to turn into a bad member of fandom? All the squealing, crack and love? It happens with both the muns and the characters.

TL;DR; give it a whirl, we don't mind!

8. You can't really help who you find attractive, but fetishizing anyone isn't cool. My boyfriend is Korean and we had to stop going to cons because of all the stupid people who would randomly start talking to him about his culture. Including (mainly) white boys who would come up to him and start speaking Japanese (lol). His standard response--"Dude, I'm from Iowa. I've never even been to Canada." Just...don't do it!

...But...isn't that what THIS secret is? If it's sad that a person can't admit they like a certain character or pairing, how much sadder is it that you can't attach your name to this? It's not exactly a groundbreaking or taboo sentiment. Plenty of people have said it before. I even agree with you--what's the big idea if people don't "get" what you like? (Hell, I'm a huge Squall/Rinoa shipper...and NOBODY in fandom likes that.) It just seems like you posted this to be condescending, and in the process did the very same thing you're slamming others for.
