I firmly believe there's nothing intrinsically terrible or skeevy or creepy about it.

I'm sure in practice many of them are terrible. So if we're talking about actually-existing male het doms, or specific people, yeah no doubt.

I guess my question is whether "the actions he gets off on taking" are actually against women. Because as I've always understood it, and conceptualized it, that's absolutely not the case.

I mean, I just don't think that's what bondage ought to be.

Again, I suspect that in a lot of cases that's what it works out to. Which is unfortunate, and deeply shitty. But I don't think that's what it has to be.

I find it odd that you are making this SPECIFICALLY about heterosexual sex with a male dom. As though homosexual sex of either gender, or a female dom who gets off by hitting and abusing a guy, is somehow less bad. In the end, you're still talking about people who are aroused by hurting, humiliating and controlling other people.
