I am really uncomfortable about how he is already convicted in the media from the moment the woman said anything. I don't know if he raped Stoya or not and yes he has always given off a creeper vibe but the guy deserves as chance to tell his side. Also what I noticed is that Stoya's language is simple and direct, while Deen's response looks like it was crafted by a lawyer not versed in the fact that English can be written with simple words.

I agree, tbh. I don't know if he's innocent or not, and neither does any other person on the Internet except for him and the women. I don't know any of them personally so can't speak to the trustworthiness of their characters, even. I think rape accusations should be taken seriously but they are NOT automatic proof that someone is a rapist.

I say the same thing about every crime case - I'm not an expert, and it's up to juries to decide guilt and innocence. I'm just, you know, actually correct when I say a) I don't know (and you don't know either, anon) and b) accusation is not equivalent to guilt. If you think otherwise, I hope you never serve on a jury.
