It was a really nice trailer! (Shiny, exciting, etc.) I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. All the younger mutants look good and I hope they get their fair share of screentime (AKA, more than the side-characters in First Class did). The music was excellent (though Inception-y...everything is now) and the whole 'four horsemen' thing could be pretty cool. I'm looking forward to seeing how the villain gets beat since he seems nigh impossible to overcome in the trailer. (Not that this is a new thing for film, but someone who can control minds and is using their power for evil...that's more than a bit challenging, to say the least.)

I hope that Charles and Erik get to work together on the same side at some point, and that it isn't for one two minute scene. I need some more Charles/Erik in my life. (Also, on a shallow note, I've been almost dreading Charles losing his hair because while I have no issue with shaved heads in general, I didn't think James McAvoy could pull one off. He can, though! He looks great. My shallow ass is pleased.)

So yea, I'm here for it.

Yeah, McAvoy has pulled off the bald look pretty well.

And yeah, more Charles/Erik! There is a bit of a drought right now.

Man, McAvoy has the most gorgeous hair. I think that's why I was so put off at the thought of him bald; I'm so used to looking at James with his lush hair, and it's a massive difference.

At the same time, he really does rock it. I typically find him pretty as hell, but he looks unexpectedly hot bald.

I haven't looked in quite a while, but I will def be sucked back in when the film comes out. It's inevitable.

It is really nice hair! It helps, that he has been bald for a while out and about so I've had time to get used to it.

For some (sad) reason I don't see much of McAvoy around the internet. I think I'd seen an image of him bald once, and it wasn't a flattering one. So this came out and it was a big surprise for me.

This reminds me though, I look forward to all the interviews! He and Fassbender have great chemistry.

Now I have to watch it again. Notice I say 'again' because I'm pretty sure I've seen every one of their FC and DOFP interviews at least twice. It's sad.

He was the character I was most attracted to and I'm not at all attracted to him anymore. Bald is just a deal breaker for me. That being said, he does pull it off and he does look like Xavier should.

Well, you can't help what you're attracted to. He clearly has hair during some of the film, so you can at least appreciate his beauty during those moments!

He might not lose his hair until later in the film. Who knows.

I'm just glad that I dig both looks; I didn't expect too. (Oh, and yea, he looks spot on as 'Professor X'.)

This is one of those ships that I love when the movies come out and then lose interest. But this trailer has given me some feels again, so I've been reading fics today.

I kind of get that because I 'fandom hop', but I wouldn't even say I lose interest. It's just...I have so many interests that I can't juggle them all at once; it's impossible for me to keep up with that many fandoms. They have to go on the back-burner.

So when a new X-Men film comes out my interest comes back full force, but I don't stick with it forever.

For some reason it is just with this fandom. I mean, for most thing my interests go up and down but I tend to stay interest. But with X-Men I seem to only be interested when the movies come out. I'm not sure why.

Maybe you just aren't that into it? Which is okay; everyone has things like that.

I enjoy X-Men quite a bit, but there are many things I'm more passionate about.
