Democracy is fine, it is the lake of a moderated press, which is held to account over its lack of truthfulness over the way it presents the issues. Between The Daily Mail and News Corp it is amazing anyone is able to make any sort of informed judgement. We could do with teaching critical thinking skills and compassion in schools too.

The press is a huge problem, but it's not the only problem. Corporate greed is IMO perhaps the biggest factor fucking us over right now (in the US).
