I was talking to my friends and I was like 'So, Rickman and Bowie were both British, both 69, and both died of cancer only their loved ones knew they had. Should I be going through Classic Who actors to check their birthdays?"

I feel like I should be more upset, and it's not like I'm happy about it, but I'm mostly just 'Oh. Ok. That sucks.'

I thought Rickman's cancer was publicly known? He didn't make a big deal out of it, but he didn't keep it hidden like Bowie.

This is a possibility! I haven't found anything on it but that might just be because A) I'm American and we don't here much about British celebs who aren't actively doing things with Americans and B) Right now all the news on him is about his death, so I might just be missing things.
