I personally didn't see any romantic chemistry between Rey and Finn.

That out of the way, I really want Rey to not get romantically involved with any of them, it'd be awesome to have solid friendships in this trilogy. I don't get the obsession to see ships everywhere. Whether or not she's a lesbian (which I didn't get at all - wouldn't she need to have some sort of interaction with a woman for us to judge that? Someone who isn't Leia?) or straight or bi, it doesn't matter to me at all. I don't headcanon her as anything but straight yet, because I didn't see anything to extrapolate on. if she is a lesbian - good for her. If she's straight or bi? Good for her. I just don't see it yet. And I'd really prefer just to have her be kickass friends with Finn and Poe.

Nah, there's no need for any interaction with another female character to start shipping Rey with other women, it's the fact that she didn't end up in a heterosexual relationship!

Look at Frozen, lots of people in fandom are convinced Elsa's a lesbian because Disney didn't give her a prince for her happy ending. I know Disney's never going to have a lesbian princess which makes me sad, but allowing female characters to remain single at least gives fans who are so inclined to head-canon them that way, and it can be fulfilling when there's not much representation of ourselves onscreen. It's not much, filling in the blanks ourselves, but it's something.

I'd really prefer just to have her be kickass friends with Finn and Poe

yesss, this is all I want. Poe was so supportive of Finn and believing in him and helping build him up, I'd love to see that happen with Rey as well. She's been so alone all her life and I want to see her blossom with other people who appreciate her as they damn well should!

OT, but I always feel bad when two people hook up in a trio friendship because then one person gets left out! Like, you're all still good friends, of course that doesn't change, but there's an obvious shift in dynamic and you're not included in some of it anymore, I just find that depressing.
