I'm not in this fandom, but I have enough experience with hetphobia in fandom spaces to feel your pain.

You're allowed to headcanon whatever you like, of course, but it can be uncomfortable to constantly hear others preach and rant about the things you love. It does make you *feel* like you're doing something wrong.
